The 'Sales Info' tab on the Work Order/Approvals form and the 'Salesperson' selection box on the Quick Sale form contains the information about the salesperson, or salespersons, that will be credited with the sale. The default salesperson will be the employee who is currently logged on to Gallery Express. If the order is sold by someone other that the employee currently logged on, be sure to change the value in the Salesperson 1 field.
If you have configured Gallery Express to track your employee commissions the information on the 'Sales Info' tab will be saved for use in creating the employee commission records.
Gallery Express allows you to split commission sales between two employees. To split the commissions for a sale, check the 'Split Commission' check box on the 'Sales Info' tab. You will be provided with a field to add the second salesperson, and 'Commission Percent' fields for each salesperson. The 'Commission Percent' fields specify how the sale will be shared, not the actual amount of commission for each employee. For example, if the commission is to be shared equally between both salespeople, you would enter '50' in each 'Commission Percent' field. The sum of the 'Commission Percent' fields must total 100 percent.
Note: The split commission feature is only available on the Work Order/Approvals form, the Quick Sale form allows only one salesperson.
